Strange-Twig as a theatre company will always put a strong emphasis on helping new talent in the local area become established as practitioners and writers in their own rights. By giving them the chance to work in an enthusiastic and professional yet stable working environment we intend to fulfill the objectives laid out below:
- To encourage new talent in all areas of the performance industry and to provide a platform for that talent to be showcased
- To encourage both audience and actors to think in new directions and consider new perspectives to a given situation
- To intellectually stimulate the audience at all times and to challenge perceived ideas of theatre today
- To be actively open to new theatre methodologies and interpretations
- To produce consistently professional work in an easy working environment
